This is an address a friend told me about after finding it near the Arc de Triomphe. Looking at the menu you'll see a string of classical dishes like gravlax, foie gras, chicken or lamb roast, and beef steak that may leave you wondering why you're here, but one taste will have you totally understanding. And no matter what you choose, it's all got some amazing flavors. The foie gras, as well as the sirloin steak, are especially rare finds that you'll want to eat while in France. Definitely give them a try.
And there's one more thing to enjoy about this place. If you head down the curved stairs into the cellar, you'll be able to pick out your own wine bottle.
There are plenty of places with an extensive wine list, but one where you can personally choose the bottle is really rare.
The use of quality ingredients and expert preparation heightens even standard dishes to something quite moving. On top of everything, the three course dinner runs 33, so it's pretty reasonable for Paris, and especially for the area around the Arc de Triomphe.
